I haven't got a clue how true this is, but according to tuutomercadweb (which in fact got a lot of the transfer activity right during the Summer) we are considering doing a swap deal with real sociedad. The swap deal would be that we give them Osvaldo and they would give us Vela. Apparently they would be happy to do that. If true, would you be happy about this? Is the swap deal necessary to do or not?

The source was also responsible for a lot of rubbish rumours. Osvaldo will be going nowhere this january. I can't even belive this rumour has surfaced given that vela has only played a grand total of 37 games in the premiership & the massive total of 5 goals. Hardly an upgrade? As I've said on tnis site before, strikers are not the issue, its the final 3rd linkup to get them into scoring positions.

I'd take Vela all day long, but think he is worth less then Osvaldo, especially to them. Would not be a good deal, but getting him independently would.

Are you talking about Carlos Vela, who was a massive flop in the Premier league and with an attitude as inflated as Bendtner.

Sorry to disappoint but in tonights match programme there is an exclusive interview with osvaldo in which he discusses the rumoured january move. hopefully this will put all these stupid rumours to bed once & for all!
