Looks like Koeman made a slip up in the interview on solent after the win against Bournemuff last night when being questioned on Matt Targett.

At about 3. 45 into the interview he mentions he has 2 good left backs in Targett and Marcos. Maybe that's Marcos Rojo of Argentina that we have been linked with.

I've re-listened to that and I think it's him getting Matt's first name wrong, sounds like he is correcting himself and saying Targett having not gotten his name right. I could be wrong though and hope I am.

We need to sign players, Rojo or anyone. We need to just get players in. The first team is dwindling and now the fringe players are going. Enough is enough. And I really don't believe that we will spend this whole income on players. Stop lying to us saints and get in some quality.

There is quite a lot of time before the transfer window ends and I think koeman and the board are taking so much time because they want the best for the club and aren't going to rush for players who aren't going to perform well, but if they could sign someone soon so we are more confident for the Bayer Leverkusen match that'd be great, as they are a tough opponent and with the current team I honestly don't think we will win, but at the end of the day, if we have a side as strong (or hopefully stronger) than the team last season then we'll be more confident when we get to anfield, in koeman we trust, COYR!

The end of the transfer window? Which transfer window?! Good players aren't likely to want to sign for a club that looked good before all the quality left are they? Plus we need a marque signing soon to persuade other players to come. It doesn't look exciting enough at the moment for players to want to come here. A few good expensive quality signings could change that but it needs to happen soon.

Hope to God they do know what they are doing!You have only to look at West Ham to see what happens when your striker gets injured. We are very light up front, as we were last year when injuries struck, It was our defence that won us games last year. I know it was a fantastic achievement, all I am saying is injuries and suspensions are part and parcel, and you have to plan for them. We need quite a few players, but I am positive that we have a very very good manager and he does not need me to tell him how to suck eggs. let's see some strong management all round.

Pretty sure it's him mis-pronouncing "Targett" as "Margett" then correcting himself. He did address the need for another LB alongside him though which is good.
