Apparently we have tabled a £12m bid, which has been accepted. Oh dear!! Surely Ings would have been a better option. I am convinced Burnley would have sold at that price, given that he is in the final year of his contract.

Shane Long's the Steve Davis kind of player, he may not directly be involved in goals but his work ethic will create opportunities for other players. Not sure he's worth 10mil but he wouldn't be a bad signing
