I see there's been a number of articles linking us with Norweigian Wonderkid Martin Odegaard all of sudden, surely there's nothing in this one?

Again it's media mischief. Father has stated that son is now having time out to think things over. If and its a big big if he decides to start a career in English football then he will have chosen Saints as we have THE best academy in Europe and have a proven record in playing youngsters in the first team. Good set up Ajax at but it is as good here. If he has any sense he would come here because we play in the top league in the world and when it comes to a choice between Holland versus England, well, pretty straight forward really.

Agreed. Ajax MAY have nicer showers in the training complex, but England is right up there with the best chance to develop your game, particularly i kg you are playing regular first team football, which the lad knows he will get here if he is prepared to put the work in in training. The class of footballers you will be up against week in Week out, the differing weather conditions here, the pace of the game, the coaches, the fixtures, the cup competitions and so on are all massive attractions we can offer over Ajax.
