Apparently Clyne to UTD is all agreed for a few of £15m (according to reports this morning) I wonder if that included a player as I think he is worth far more than that, particularly if it involves UTD. I'd like to think that it includes Hernandez in a swap deal. That would be a far more appropriate deal than just £15m. As much as I'd be very disappointed to see the lad leave, I would take that.

Clyne is in the last year of his contract so need to get the best deal possible deal rather than lose him for nothing. Hernandez would be be a fantastic prospect in a player plus cash deal. Right back being lined up, midfielder to replace Morgan, plus other targets with a view to progress. Koeman with the absolute backing of the board will raise us to another level! This season has been incredible after the start where we were so called favourites to get relegated and implode. Have faith and enjoy the emergence of a new era in saints history. Enjoy! COYR's

I honestly don't rate hernandez, cannot see him fitting into the system we play, too lazy to play winger.

I agree that Hernandez can be a bit lazy but I think he could link up well with Mane or maybe even take advantage of Pelle's hold up play and knockdowns.we need someone up top who's a bit unpredictable as Pelle just does the same thing time and time again. Obviously we don't know if the move is likely to happen anyway. Last year when it seemed like he was offered a place at Saints he said he wanted to go to a bigger club. I suppose it comes down to whether or not he's on Roko's radar and if anyone else bids for him but I would think that Hernandez plus £10/12M for Clyne wouldn't be a bad deal for us. I'm sure we are already looking at replacement right backs anyway. Personally I think Toby and Morgan will be much harder to replace if they both go.

I agree Morgan & Toby will be tough to replace, but not impossible. Looking back at our 2-0 win against arsenal the Wanyama-Reed-JWP midfield was brilliant. I really do see a future in all three of those players. As for Toby's replacement, I think we sometimes forget just how good Yoshida is.

Hernandez would be massive for you boys. Gone stale but he just needs the right club

I agree that Yosh is a decent player but not in the same class as Toby. As for the midfield trio you mention I also see a decent future for them although Reed still has a lot to learn, Wanyama needs to curb his enthusiasm just a little and JWP is yet to live up to his hype but none of those three can fill Morgan's boots.

Toby we will definitely miss the most I reckon, I actually feel Wanyama has grown so much this year and has outplayed Morgan in many games, but Morgan is going to be a huge miss. Watched an interview with Lallana on youtube and when asked who was the best player he has ever played with he said Morg, bearing in mind he could of picked Liverpool players. Cannot begrudge Morgan a move this year if he does go. He deserves CL.

why are you all assuming Toby won't join permanently? He's said we're his first choice and is always saying that he wants to be playing in the premier league this season. Koeman has always seemed positive about our chances of signing him, I agree we may loose Morgan if we don't get champions league football but whilst he's important to us he's not irreplaceable, with the 2-0 win over Arsenal highlighting that, it's a shame we don't still have Cork as he'd be an ideal replacement for Morgan

I have stated all along that Toby would stay but Athletico Madrid are the deciding factor. I just pray that saints won't be put off if they play hard ball and raise the price. We have very good finances in place we need to try and be competitive in the transfer market but without breaking the bank. Wish the under 21's luck in the second leg of the cup final! 3pts on Saturday COYR's

I think Toby will sign, but if he doesn't I'm not going to panic.
Didn't we all think Lovren was a massive loss last year?
My view with both these players is that Fonte gets the best out of them with his organisational skills. He is the leader and whilst they might have the talent it is his directional skills which helps them look so good.
