Apparently Charlie Austin was in the stands tonight? Anyone know if this is true?

Seems to not be any truth to this however both Koeman and Fonte were coy about further signings in their post match interviews.

I think this came from someone seeing a car at st mary's with AUS in the number plate. Probably that of Claus Lundekvam in reality. Don't see us going in for another striker tbh

Apparently based on two things: 1) Talksh1t supposedly spotted him in the crowd and 2) A car with number plate 'C15 AUS' parked in the car park.

No idea if its true this is just what my social media research has told me. Naysayers are claiming the plate belongs to Claus who might have been at the game tonight.

We were pretty good going forward tonight and still without JayRod, not sure if we need another striker but wouldn't ever say no to Austin coming in if it is true, he's quality.

I'd like to see Hernandez come to us he'd be a real good signing works hard and pops up right time and place he wouldn't play every game but would like to see him with us

I appreciate we have Jrod coming back but he is better out wide than through the middle. If we really want to challenge in the league, cups inc europe, we need to bring in another striker.

Additionally, Yoshida is a weak link and we need a replacement as Caulker is hopefully a cover option.

Still need to add another DM esp with Classie being injured.

Ed's any news on transfers or are we waiting to get into group stages before we sign anyone else?

I did like Fonte's interview after the game, he said about new signings and then had a massive grin on his face as if he really wanted to say we have an amazing signing coming! did anyone else notice?

Just before the teams came out last night all the photographers were aiming at someone in the VIP box. could that have been Austin? I hope so as although Pelle looked lean and hungry last night he will tire like any player and so we need strength in depth.
Nice to see McCarthy on the bench.please give Tadic some crossing practice.

Hodgson the England manager was there that's probably why . Find it strange he was there as Targett was the only English player playing for us tonight . My last statement says it all about our transition and maybe soon we will become a mini Chelsea .
