Worrying rumours about United in for Jake hesketh to help rejuvenate their floundering academy. more worrying if it's true and they sell!

Even more worrying is the fact that Kowman has stated that our academy stars are not up to scratch.
Something seriously wrong here. Either Roko has no idea and a new manager may be required or I would hope that he is just saying that to give them a kick up the backside as we need help with the first team.
On another note teams all around us are buying and improving yet again, if we do not do the same we will end up in the championship again!
WE NEED NEW BLOOD!

Why are the academy players not up to scratch is it because the coaching is poor under koeman I can't remember it being called poor before

I think this rumour is just people putting 2 and 2 together after what Koeman said about the academy kids. Logically, Hesketh is 19 now so he isn't even in the "academy" anymore, he is training with the first team like all the over 18's do (Reed, seager, targett etc. )

Hesketh was good enough 2 seasons ago but not anymore? Last season Harry Reed was man of the match against Everton, bossed Barkley out of the game and was repaid by being left out of the team ever since! Advice for Seager etc, leave as you've no chance of advancing in the current setup. Best academy in England, worst chance of getting a game!

I watch these under 21 and 18 games a lot and I have seen all these players on a regular bases
Even if u doubt wot is being said watch all the games yourself on youtube saints fc
And can u honestly say seager hesketh are anywhere near wot the required level is for first team in premier league
100 percent are nowhere near
Reed has best chance of being a solid player and clasie is technically better.

I've been watching Turnbull at Swindon when Saints aren't playing. He's no better than Caulker! Last year Stephens was better than Turnbull at Swindon and moved on loan this season to a Champ team but didn't get in the starting line up much. Reed and Targett for me can step up.
