{Ed001's Note - sorry I have been sick in bed for most of the last two days so the only thing I have found out was that Koeman wants the club to try and take advantage of De Boer leaving Ajax to cherry pick the best players.

He wants Cillesen to push/replace/back up Forster. Veltman, Bazoer, Sinkgraven, Klaasen have all been tracked in recent months by the Saints. I fully expect enquiries to go in about all those players, maybe Fischer and Cerny as well.

Koeman wants the club to show ambition this summer and back him to build a squad to compete on all fronts. Only time will tell if the board are willing to do so, but it should be an interesting summer at least.}

Thank you Eds! As mentioned hope you get better soon, and that your family appreciates the seriousness of your man flu!

Interesting to see the Dutch league being targeted again, Koeman and the scouting team know it well and perhaps think they can spot value in an inflated market.

{Ed001's Note - I believe they are expecting a number of players to look to leave Ajax, hence the interest in that particular club. It is easier to target players that want to move, than ones you have to try and convince to join.}
