After a quite couple of weeks story wise. Seems to be a few reports of linked players coming out the past few days.

Alex McCarthy, GK, From Crystal Palace clearly a place we need to strengthen in depth rather than starting.

Christian Tello, Forward/ Winger, Barcelona not sure if this is just rehashed from earlier in the transfer window as stories were getting a little thin or if we still have genuine interest.

Recio, Midfield, Malaga. one report I have read said we have already bid 6m euros for him.

Ruben Semedo, CB, Sporting. With Gardos injured again we really need back up here. Oh and with the interest in Van Dyke and now reports saying there is interest in Fonte from Russia.

Bastien, Midfield, Anderlect. One for the future maybe?

I don't know how true any of them are I have no insider knowledge simply what I have read the past couple of days.

Apart from that it looks a strong preseason campaign, let's get behind the lads and take it into the new season!

Those 3 would be ideal Saintdan16, we don't need anymore CM's, maybe Bastien for the future, but then I'd say we already have a few for the future in our academy so unsure.

So business done signing those? What happens if or should I say when Jay and Charlie get injured again, where are the goals coming from, Striker, acm and cb should be very high on the agenda and not just as squad fillers.

Understand your concerns dsj but no one in the world can predict injuries short or long term. With any contact sport knocks, muscle problems, head injuries etc., are part and parcel of the game. Jay and Charlie are deemed fit for duty and medical staff would be keeping a close eye on them as well as others during the games coming up. I'd be very surprised if at least 2-3 additions are not added before the Watford game. Our new manager apart from that is very pleased with what he has seen so far from the academy to the senior players. Still maintain that another experienced GK would be beneficial. Hojbjerg is already showing his capabilities - early days yet but squad shaping up well. First six games will be very important . But whatever happens let's hope that everybody gets behind them. We are the 12th man. We will march on. COYR's.

Well dsj20v, I'm hoping the forward player we hopefully sign, like Mane, can play up to or as a wide forward which Tello can.
