Hi ed, any news on badly needed INCOMING transfers, seems to have gone quiet again, at least one striker and a goalkeeper required as a minimum.

Alex mccarthy has signed a 3 year contract today. Excellent backup for Fraser, the squad gets stronger.

Heavy rumours of Saints securing Alex McCarthy -goalkeeper from Crystal Palce. £2 million mentioned. 1 down 1 to go. Striker will come right out of the blue -typical of Saints. Patience is a virtue. 2 more Friendlies to go can't make the Wednesday one but I'll be there with my partner on the weekend one. Be interesting to see the line up - could be the one to start against Watford. We Will March On.

Just been confirmed that Alex McCarthy -Crystal Palace goalkeeper has signed a 3 year contract to join Saints. Just now need to wait if Claude has given the board names of a striker he would like to come in. As I said patience is a virtue.

Forster ain't going anywhere. Claude and the board are in agreement that Pelle, Wanyama and Mane are the only ones that were allowed to go. Pelle was in the last year and the other two insisted on going. Forster is very happy at Saints. This is a player (along with Fonte) that will see the new season out playing for Southampton. Have faith and embrace that saints will build up a squad that will get better and better in time. You got it so wrong with Katarina she doesn't need the money as she is a billionaire in her own rights. She could have sold the club easily to Asian investors if she was that bad. She has faith in the club and we should return that faith. Be positive and look forward to the future.

Good bit of business by the Saints in securing McCarthy - we are stronger in the GK position/ options now than last year.

Exactly. Enough said. I think there will be one more signing to come in. Hopefully a striker that's been passed by but not by Claude and his team of scouts. Someone with promise that will turn out a bargain. The last jigsaw in the puzzle . Onwards and upwards.
