I openly admit, I for one was not happy with the way Saints were playing under Puel. On top of that his player rotation was extreme. In fact I just felt he didn't 'get' the PL at all.

Well what can I say, he has clearly learnt very quickly, changed his formation to one he was totally unfamiliar with, having been a lover of the diamond. He has also realised that he needs to make as few changes per game to be able to survive in the PL (Even Pep G has struggled with the strength and style of the PL)

What we have now is a team playing like a team. Fluent, exciting, dynamic, skillful . an absolute joy to watch . and a striker extraordinaire! Plus signings of Boufal and Cacares. If we can keep this team together, we have an amazing team.

Just watch Gabbiadini on the ball, off the ball. His reading of an attack is quite possibly one of the best I have ever seen. Reminds me of Teddy Sheringham, Ruud Van Nistleroy . Knows when to go, when to hold, when to not go.

Les Reed said we had been watching him for several years! and what a find. While most teams seem to throw money at getting players, we have a structured, patient approach. The football in the EFL final and again against Watford, was pure football!

Pure football, apart from the very leaky defence.
