So with CP saying the VVD will be staying next season (i'll believe it when I see it) who do you think isn't cutting it at the moment?
Think we need a cull in the squad and look to get better replacements.
My list to leave is:

Long
Rodriguez
Martina
Target (Harsh but Mcqueen is better)
Tadic (too lazy and not a team player)
Gardos (think his chance has passed)

I don't see any reason to ditch Target. you are allowed to have more than 2 players for any position.
I don't think Harrison Reed has developed much though.

Sorry I don't believe anything the club says when it comes to player sales so like every season watch this space. I would offload j-rod he's had time and time again to prove himself poor guy hasn't been himself since he come back from injury he's lost his pace and afraid to put a tackle in.

Trouble is IRW that if we take that view we will end up with a huge squad.
Better to keep it trimmed and then see what we can do salary wise to keep the important key members of the first team squad.

I would like to see either mcqueen or targett go out on loan, along with reed. They need to get some proper game time and toughen up. Gallagher should come back in to replace j-rod. I'd like to keep long as he works hard but j-rod should go. Gardos obviously needs to go. Martina is out of contract anyway. Tadic should be kept.

Reed I feel is a better prospect than classie and only game time at a top level stops him improving more. Gallagher can replace j rid if he goes olomola has pace a plenty if long leaves and that still leaves Austin. Target I'm sure will have bidders but can only go if Bertrand is going to stay and McQueen . Soares if he stays pied can back up. Still need a proven wide man tadic is awol, Boufal not sure and redmond sometimes flatters to deceive. Still not convinced by FF but as an under armour brand ambassador am sure (😇) . He is staying so needs to be kept honest by good number 2. Manolo could Be amazing appears to have it all but why only play him for 60mins.
If we start next season with the main players from this it will be a pleasant surprise and I'd be optimistic on a push for europa again.

I agree with the above. Although I love J-Rod, he needs to now ply his trade at pastures new. Gallagher based on his performances this season deserves a place on the bench for the next campaign. I would keep both Targett and McQueen (as they can play in multiple positions, and we still don't know the future of Bertrand) and IMO, the rumours of Gylfi Sigursson would be as a replacement for Tadic.

I also think that our squad will be culled anyway during the close season, as no doubt there will be other 'fringe/ youth' players being added to the group AND as they'll be no Europa League fixtures next year, our squad can be trimmed (in the Directors eyes anyway! ) ;-)

Agreed. Tadic is obviously our main man for assists but he doesn't score anywhere near enough. Plus his attitude looks a bit suspect of late. "Too big for his boots" but maybe would change under a new manager. IF he goes then sigurdsson MUST come in. Don't care if we pay 25 mill I think he'd be worth it. Obviously centre half needs at least one player as we all know, probably 2 or 3 if VVD goes. We need to keep Bertrand at all costs he's the best left back in the country. Our youth such as sims etc have done well, I think we have a good squad we just haven't played to the best of our ability and out style hasn't got the best out of them.
