Time to report Liverpool to the PL again I think they are still trying to get Vvd but this time they are using the press and former players some of whom are still employed by the club Ian burridge who works for their tv channel says he thinks virgil should go on STRIKE to force a move through just try it we may even save money by fining him after all we have been paying him 70 grand a week for six months while he's been injured.

Well if he really does want a move so badly then all he has to do is hand in a transfer request in writing and give up his (and his agents) share of the transfer fee. All Liverpool have to do is ASK PERMISSION and pay 75 million pounds and not try to get him on the cheap.

Totally agree with this!

One point I'd like to pull up is this: why do we pay players in the Premier League that are on strike?
Payet is the first that springs to mind.

If I refused to work it'll be hitting me in the paycheck straight away!

I just hope VVD puts his toys back in the pram and gives us one more season as was promised. Only then we he redeem himself.

Totally agree again. VVD has been a great servant in his short time and just read that John Aldridge is saying he should go on strike. Liverpool have previous for this behavior and should be reported again. Yes I do believe VVD will leave us but under OUR terms only.

Apparently VVD has previous on the strike front. Refused to play for Celtic against Dundee as in true Lovren style, 'had his head turned' after an offer came in for him.

It is not the club, it is a former player's words and personal opinion.

He still does work for liverpool fc all their ex players act as unofficial mouthpieces for that them they use the old boy network to get what they want to say in the press.

In the press today, he said that he didn't tell Virgil to strike, but that players have all the power, and 'if' they strike then they force the move.
