As far as I can see we need to use a 352 going forward dropping into a 532 in defence. Line up for me would be Anyone but Forster, hoedt, vvd, Stevens, Bertrand, Lemina, Romeu, Davis, Soares, Gabiadini and Austin. Does anyone agree?

something needs to change, IMO it is a combination of tactics and players - sometimes we don't look like a cohesive unit.
5,3,2 OR 4,4,2 - one up front isn't working.

That could work. However, that seems way too defensive. 5 at the back and 3 midfielders that have no presence in attack. Obviously, you'd have Bertrand and Cedric attacking the wings.

Saintjay in 352/ 532 the wingbacks are key and need to be up and down the flanks as needed providing crosses in attack and smothering counter attacks offeriing outlets for the centre backs. When attacking Lemina and or Davis would push forward. This keeps options open for passing and switching the play. Everything revolves around a box to box attitude and plenty of crosses.

Yes, I am familiar with how this works. I just don't see Davis being reliable enough to be added as another attacking threat. We would essentially have 3 CB's and 3 CM's who are defensive minded. You would want someone that can sit in behind the front 2 that can move the ball about fast and get it out to the wing but would also provide support for Cedric and Bertrand. I would say that currently, Tadic would be the best person to do this.
