18th of Jan and not much happening! Yes I'm being the impatient fan; disappointed on Walcott, thanks for the Gazumping Everton! FEw names still in the pot, apparently Gabbs' agent wants him back in Italy with Bologna, 3 goals in 22 games is pretty poor - still not seen him better than in the cup final. Some interesting free agents going according to the Echo; let's go Schweinstieger (I prob spelt that wrong. ) .

I still think we aren't going to sign someone. Primarily because the board are usually slow to get things done, also there aren't many players out there that suit our needs (tried and tested premier league goal scorers), plus our club isn't in the greatest of shape at the moment sitting just above the drop zone, a team lacking confidence and a manager that the majority of fans don't want anymore.

It would be a positive step to announce a new player before Sunday's game but it's going to be a difficult game who ever comes in.
