Who should be our new manager? Who could come in and save us from the drop?

{Ed002's Note - I'll offer up Slavisa Jokanovic as someone they may look to.}

Too late though Ed 002 in my opinion, have you any idea at all how it has come to this? Do you also think we are going to lose thousands of supporters for next season even if by some miracle we survive considering the public opinion of the board and it's total lack of listening to popular opinion, All this talk about us getting rid of Claude Puel is a mystery to me. The man was never given a chance to show us he had what it takes, I never wanted him to go and have a feeling I wasn't the only one. Something very odd about his departure, I wonder what would have been the outcome if we had won the League Cup which we actually deserved to win.

{Ed002's Note - It came to this because no one, including the fans, gave Puel the time he needed. That was the lesson to be learned. So I agree with you Chris.}

Especially seeing leicesters formation of basically 4231.then bringing on more attackers away from home . yes it may of been west brom but I actually believe there is something being bred into them from the hierarchy. Maybe the stress of the ownership and takeover was under no circumstances can you lose or get relegated. week after week we look petrified of scoring, winning and anyone who shows flair and positivity is pegged back. How many times this season has a player come into form, played an awesome game (when considering the shower of s*@t around them) to be benched for the next 3 games. I think the whole club from top to bottom are petrified of being relegated and are panicking not knowing what to do. The worrying thing is the championship is one hell of a league now and if we go down I don't fancy our chances on a quick return.

I think the best thing for the club would be a manager who has managed a big club such as Manuel Pellegrini or Thomas Tuchel. I know these are unlikely candidates, however Rafael Benítez (dare I mention his name) has obviously improved Newcastle who at the time they were relegated were in a similar situation to saints now. He stayed on through the championship and it looks like they could be staying up. The only other thing I am pinning my hope on is that Leicester won the Prem the season after they were nearly relegated so there is hope!
