The thing I worry about is you could bring Fergie to this club, its not going to make the strikers hit the back of the net, we just don't score enough.
I'm not sure whoever we bring in will be able to change that. (although I hope I'm wrong) I would of loved to heard what my grandad would say about the club, he played for Southampton in the 60's I believe, and I think only as a fringe goalkeeper. He would be shocked to see the state of the club.

The other concern is our fixture list if we do get someone in quickly, West Ham in the state that club is also in we need all the points.

Because who else sees any points from Arsenal away (who have magically found a winning formula) and Chelsea at home?

I'm hoping we do enough, and the players show fight for the club and we manage to scrap survival even if its goal difference.

I know we aren't spoilt for choice at the moment, but sparky has been mentioned, I'm not so sure but then again with 8 games, and 3 of them against 3 of the 'big 6' my fingers are crossed.

If used to their strengths, our strikers can / will score goals. Under the MP2 regime, they were often isolated. I 100% believe that we have an excellent chance of staying up, whereas this morning I gave us no chance.

Everyone has been demanding MP’s head for months now, blaming him almost entirely for the poor play, and as soon as he goes you say you don’t think it’ll make a difference?

I give up.

I think it will make a massive difference
I honestly don’t think any player enjoyed the system and the tactics drilled into them
And we won’t really know until we play a relegation 6 pointer in a couple of weeks.
