Apparently Saints are renewing their interest in Barcelona outcast Paco Alcacer! This would be awesome if we could sign him. He would bring some serious attacking quality to the club. It seems that not many clubs are trying to sign him either.

I'm not convinced by this personally. I don't think an out and out striker should be our biggest priority. We need creative players much more than strikers, so I'd prefer Sisto or Promes.

Can understand people disagree though given our poor shot conversion last year.

I do understand what your saying 123, But He was prolific before He joined Barca', I just have a feeling 'Gabbi' will come good under MH, Sell on Long (great work ethic, but that's it) . Austin (if he can stay Fit), Gabbi, Alcacer and keep Sam Gallagher as forward options wouldn't be too shabby!
We All know, we created plenty of chances last season, We just couldn't finish, But with competition like that up Front!?

Yeah I can see why people disagree, but although the stats say we were missing chances, watching the games it never felt like we had the creativity. Don't quote me on this, but I wonder how many of these 'missed chances' were genuine chances and how many were half chances. I never got the impression, throughout the whole season, that we had any creativity. Each game felt like an anaemic performance without any spark, rather than a missed opportunity where our finishing let us down.

But as I say, I realise the stats tell a different story.

I wouldn't say no to Alcacer; I just think if we're only going to get 1 big signing, there are people I'd put ahead of him.

Yeh. I agree . But I would like to think that He wouldn't be are only signing! I would also like to see a more direct player behind the forwards, Maybe We already have that player, just playing Him in the wrong position . Lemina? Thoughts?
