Tadic deal to Ajax all but done. Bertrand pretty much gone as Targett is staying. Can't see us staying up without significant amount of signings. And the signings must be the "bullseyes". No room for Gardos, Boufal, Redmond or Carrillo type of misfits.

loftus cheek would be a great deal offer 20m and a buy back for chelski. Also Bertrand won't leave only one of the 3 left backs will be allowed to go I would think.

Loftus-Cheek is way better than Maddison, he would be perfect at Saints, then let's do a deal on Patrick Roberts from City.
Would love Dzyuba too, so reminds me of a cross between Sir Ricky Lambert and Pelle. Think he could be made available too.
Need a strong older Centre Back, there are couple of Italians that were spoken of.
Steve Davis is going to need replacing unfortunately, he has done a great job for us, brilliant attitude, maybe integrate him into youth management and still give some cover this year?
We need somebody with speed up front and have to probably let Shane Long go whilst he has some value.
If Tadic goes and we have to continue suffering Redmond we will need one replacement there too.
Hope we get the two young Aston Villa players mentioned, but understand that if Villa can flog Jack Grealish and keep Green and the other young chap, it makes sense for them.
We have Josh Simms, Sam Gallagher and Sam McQueen all great young players (And they are ours)!

Agree Loftus Cheek in a different league to Maddison. Would take more like 40m to get him in my imo. Would love to get him!

I'd keep Shane Long. Incredibly useful in tough away games. Has way more impact than Austin for example in those sorts of games where a lone striker sees very little of the ball.

Would love to get rid of Carillo. He will prob never leave as won't get anywhere near the money he is on at saints anywhere else.

Pete Wesley - Totally agree about Artem Dzyuba, he would be just the Target Man I think we've been crying out for since Lambert/ Pelle left. But I get the feeling the Saints Board will question his age (and therefore limited sell on value) .

Why keep Shane long? he is genuinely no good. makes these amazing runs into spaces which are so good that they can't get a decent ball into him, and he is too short to cross one in. Agreeably he pressure the defense, but that is about it. He has had his time at saints and needs to move on. Loftus-Cheek would be amazing but he would be around £40 million as already stated. If he wasn't effective why has he been chosen for the World Cup?

I just hope we act soon! And make some clever moves. Signing Sturridge isn't one of them to me.
