Hi Ed’s, I understand you must be busy this time of year but I was wondering if you have any information on potential incomings to St Mary’s. Very little news in this regard and any information we do have seems to possess very little in the way of concrete evidence.

Lookman would be exactly the player we need imo - young with huge potential, but capable of adding much needed pace and energy this season as well.

Don't know too much about a few others, but really not convinced by Drinkwater.

Dzeko would be fantastic. Don't really know much about the others but seems nakajima looks promising from what I've read. Lookman seems very hit and miss for Everton.

Ed I thought the deal for ings to be made permanent was in the coming summer? . if they are looking to make it permanent now would the reason be to free up more loan places or to loan another player from Liverpool?

Would be very excited if we could sign Lookman in Particular. However from what I’ve read Everton seem as though they’d drag their feet and be unwilling to sell. The worst part about being a Saints fan is the deafening silence that always surrounds our potential incomings!

Great info ed. Thanks. Hoedt out for 8-10 mill would mean taking a 5 mill hit. but he really doesn't seem to be in RH plans.

I’d be happy with who ever Ralph brings in based on the way he’s started off his Southampton managerial career
This wouldn’t have the les reed seal of approval and would probably be our best signing or singnings for some time
