I thought our first game of the season may be a battle between relegation contenders.

Still think You am correct

Then a positive to take from the early season results is that Saints have taken points from away games at Newcastle, WBA and Watford and beaten Norwich at home.

They're likely to be the teams they're competing against in the lower third of the league this season.

Unless you're still buying the club's propaganda about ambition and making progress and blah blah. In which case, keep on dreaming about that top six finish.

Just shut up with this relegation talk. We all know we're not getting regated so stop moaning. We have too much talent in the squad to be in any sort of threat.

Are you serious relegation that's a joke were too good for that yes it's very unlikely we do anything like last year but the bottom 3 we'll be no way close

We've lost 2 games, against Utd - who'll be challenging for the title and Everton - who'll be challenging for the top 6 maybe even 4. Where does this panic come from?

We've kept 3 clean sheets and scored 7 goals over 7 games, fair enough we're not all that high in the table but things could be a lot worse. Clearly were doing alright scoring goals and the defence isn't all that bad, there is absolutely nothing to panic about this far into the season.

to say we will be fighting relegation is absolutely ridiculous, but so Is saying Everton are that good, I think they will be around tenth, we just made them look good by playing terrible. We looked decent against a good United side and was very unlucky not to win
