On the echo site ron koeman said they are looking at 1 signing this window and he does nt know what is happening with Hesketh from the academy
If you were the manager of a club it would be you business yo know what is going on at the club.
I am begining to wonder if Ron Koeman has any ambition just like the board worrying times ahead seems likely

Wot bugs me some fans and probably now keoman is the fact kath is backing us so much Bournemouth, Watford, crystal palace, Sunderland, west ham, newcastle, Norwich, are out spending us and the way things are going will be above us come end of season
How can southampton with the succesful first six months last season and player sales and TV money plus all that great work Ralph has done boosting sponsorship by doing hockey things. how are we not getting players in place and paying and doing the right things to keep players happy.

Forget for one minute that Cortese was spending someone else's money, sacked all the programme sellers, alienated past managers and players etc etc, - what has changed in the players mentality since? With Cortese in charge I bet Shaw and Lallana etc would never have left and thus we wouldn't have Clyne and Vic running down their contracts and Mane (probably) looking to leave. I know this question is constructive, but understanding the answer will manage expectations. Surely?

Look if I look a the very first interviews with Marcus and cortese
Cortese brought the pertential of our Down in the dumps club to Marcus becuase Marcus's dad had conections and his family name on crains down the docks. and Marcus was saying in article how he said at the time he wouldn't do venture unless cortese runs the project . then another article with cortese saying southampton fc was his baby and that is how he is going to keep it . then we got promotion to championship and kath now has control southampton spent but not like they did season before when lambert and co joined 1mil for a player in league one is a big pay out. in championship as stated got promotion with little investment . now is where it turned the good old faithful players wanted the prem wages and cortese was making sure the team had competitive wages plus getting the better players witch cost more to keep the players a bit more happy there team is not selling and are adding to the already talented team. kath did not won't no more money going into the club cortese could not take the project further unless the correct type backing was there . then he thought if I can't do my Job Marcus was happy for me to do becuase my hands are being tied buy kath I am standing down and she can show wot a excellent job she could do now a bit later down road momentum that was there faided eventually and she and les have now got us tagged as a middle of the league selling club. now it is deep set in the team everyone with sense knows this and any player that dreamed of lifting a cup knows that's not going to happen here . worst of all this is how the board sustainable plain is they won't the players thinking like this hence the arsenal display get noticed boys earn us some wonga make les and kath happy .
Eds tried to make us aware of this before poch left and all players followed just like pedictied.
