If it becomes a possibility it will be the first test of Puelâ€™s vaunted player relationship skills. Only thing is, if Stones goes for the talked about Â£50M, then VVD can only go for about Â£80M as heâ€™s three or four times the player Stones is, especially under a six year contract.

Oh sorry 2+2=vvd would want to not play European football and go to a club equal in league positions. Obviously vvd is a history fan and will go to Everton who are a BIG club.
You can see everton's statement of intent by buying steklenberg who honestly never made a match changing save in any game he played for us even though they have a 100m to spend.
Apologies for my maths short comings thanks for explaining things. If VVD is to leave it would I hope be to a top 4 and established champions league club.
