I think the perfect striker for saints is Jordan Ayew because he has had good experience in the premier league, has shown his excellence with his very quick and tricky footwork and quick pace which allowed him to rip through the defence. He was just unlucky that he ended up at aston villa. He also wouldn't cost a bomb or at least not as much as benteke which some people are suggesting.

Except for the fact that he's been pocketed by league 2 and non-league defences in pre season and Villa fans actually want him to be subbed off.
