It was obvious and it was said right at the start of the season, we won't score goals.

I seriously am beginning to wonder about the manager . Is he managing or following instruction?

Leave it until the end of Jan and we will be in the real mire. We are only being kept away from it by teams at the bottom losing.

We need three, fit, capable imports in January or else we will be closing in on the relegation zone.

Time to act is NOW.

I agree. I think the manager needs to go. Our style of football is really boring. One of our old managers (forget who it was now) played about 5 strikers, we let loads of goals in, but we scored tons as well! If we get a new manager I think it would be good to get someone who used to play for saints, for example le tissier. Anyway, on a more positive note if we are playing at our worst we can only get better! Have a great 2017 folks!

Hi guys I am back in England for 1 weeks holiday with my partner. Totally agree with gtsaint with his comments. I am sure that Puel is a puppet for our board to bring on the academy players with view to sell. Before I went to NZ I was very protective of our board - not so much now.

I feel sorry for Puel as he is being told by the board who he can buy ( at the cheapest price) and who goes. He has no say at all on any matters. We are flush with money and rubbish loads more to come. We are a club that shops at footballs equivalent to "Poundland" unless there is a major change of direction we will flounder at the wrong end of the league.

If we the supporters can see (obviously) that we need a class striker, at least 2 class midfielders that can make killer passes and 2 class CB's to replace Fonte and Yoshida then god help us. I will return to NZ with a heavy heart soon. Come on lads make noise at the board and make it known loudly that they need to sort this out NOW.

Welcome back Welsh, hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your non football based return home and hope you have a safe journey back to nz. Unfortunately I think we are at a total loss at the moment but I will hold my judgement till the end of the window. It will give without reasonable doubt an insight to the club's plans. Spend money and attempt to rectify the issues = happy days. stick with the current squad and not spend on required areas or not attempt to resolve the obvious can only mean one thing. but as I said I'll wait to see what happens .

Leaving tomorrow night thanks Rayzer. Here's a bit of a controversial thought for food and debate. Sell in this window Classie, Fonte, Shane Long and JWP. Replace with like for like. Classie hasn't fulfilled his expectations. Fonte' s mind is in another world and making mistakes too often. Shane will run all day and reminds me of our pet dog when we throw a stick.

Both have as much chance of getting a goal. JWP couldn't tackle a custard tart. Showed promise a while ago and to me is now a bit of a liability - replace him with a midfielder that has more bite and goals. As for Forster well I am mystified by a 6ft 7in goalkeeper that doesn't impose himself enough . We will see what happens in this transfer window but don't hold your breath. I don't normally criticise our beloved club but I honestly can't see us getting in the top six with the present board. Hope I am proved wrong big time. Good luck guys and girls and best wishes for 2017.
