Great appointment. Will have a manager who will continue the Potch style that did us proud.

Now that we have him perhaps we can get him involved in recruiting players that he believes can work with him.

COYR.

Really? Where do you get that from? Seems an identical replacement for Puel if you ask me. Sacked from every job within a year, until last season (1 season btw) . I don't see the point in sacking Puel for this replacement.

Obviously I hope i'm drastically wrong but i'm highly sceptical.

Standard, start of the season, doom and gloom really.

Same as Puel? Sacking? Puel's only ever been sacked once

MoPo was sacked from Espanyol after poor results

Tactically Pelligrino is a mix of MoPo and Koeman, prefers the high pressing, high intensity attacking football like MoPo but will set a team up defensively if that's what's needed to win, like Koeman

Have a day off from the moaning, WanderingSaint.

How can facts be moaning when his win rate over 4 jobs is something like 36% don't get me wrong I hope he's outstanding but let's not get carried away just because his name is similar to poches.

Sainty, I was referring to Pellegrino when I said "Sacked from every job within a year, until last season (1 season btw. "

When I said he seems "the same as Puel, " this means that he has an almost identical record to Puel last season, playing the same type of football.

Just stating the facts, following research (always a good idea when forming opinions) . I don't get the excitement around the appointment of Pellegrino.

I am generally positive, and support the owner/ board, but this whole episode has left a sour taste in my mouth and has affected the reputation of our club. My research leads to be very nervous about the coming season, although as I've said I hope to be proven wrong. I will certainly take no pleasure if i'm proven to be right.

Similar in table position and a lost cup final? Alaves were a newly promoted team, if we finished 9th and got to a cup final in our first season in the prem you'd be delighted. He's also saying he wants to follow the southampton way. Personally I'm quite excited for next season!

Same here sam. Les reed's statement on him was what I was hoping mp to be. An attacking style and promotes youth.
Roll on epl 2017/ 18!
Can we do another leicester?
