Sad to see Rickie lambert being released would like to see him back working with one of the development teams if he calls it a day.

That would be great, as I think every young player coming through the academy would want to learn from SRL, but alas there is very little sentiment in football; so we shouldn't hold our breath :- (.

Think he could teach 4 or 5 of our players how to take penalties for a starter. Perhaps he could then bring JWP up to speed on how to hit free kicks with killer speed.

Most Saints fans would be delighted to have him involved with the U18s and U21s, just think about what he has done for the club. All true fans understand why he went to Liverpool, the also are proud of the fact that he played for England as a Saints player.

Lets hope he does get involved Matt Le Tissier and Ricky Lambert where and are special.!
