Does anyone actually know what the hell is going on with our pre season yet. Seems yet again we've been left in the lurch by our oh so wonderful board no pre season planned probably not much in the way of enquiring about players this all this already has us on the back foot for the season before a ball has even been kicked.

Puel should have been sacked as soon as the last ball was kicked so these sorts of things along with getting a new manager were done sooner. This is the problem when you have a board structure as we have now, you have to have meeting after meeting after metting before anything actually gets done. Everyones worrying about vvd and loan deals in (which is a joke for a premier league side looking to compete with the bigger clubs) but i'm more worried about getting our side prepared for the season.

Also with the davis debate I've never rated the bloke he is a work horse and nothing more. To compare him to scholes is a complete farce he is a liability when he's in goalscoring positions, he can't cross a ball let alone lay it on a plate for another how many assists has he got?, I've seen him taking corners and free kicks which never amount to anything, sometimes he struggles with a simple ball to a teammate and tackling and competing for a ball well he's about as good at that as my 9 month old son.

Like I said his energy in getting around the pitch is all he offers hence a work horse player. i'm not one for slating players but I dread seeing him on the team sheet let alone on the ball. Then again he's still better than me but I can't see how some people don't see these things.

Saintdan16. What are you talking about? What do you know about what goes on inside the club, and how it's run?

Sacking Puel immediately after the last kick of the ball? Get real. Making rash decisions based on your frustration. Sounds like a good strategy. Not.

As for Davis. He is a work horse. That's exactly what he's there for. All teams have them and he's good at it (most of the time) .
We had a disappointing season in terms of performances, but we still finished in a good position. The club has reacted accordingly and is going through another change to improve all these things - yet it is not enough for the moaners. It never is.

Supporters of the clubs below us can't believe all this 'supporters' negativity regarding the Saints, and that they wish their club were as well run as ours.

Stay calm and support the Saints!

Im sorry to say it but supporters with attitudes like you are what's wrong with our club. Pre season should have been arranged long ago, I bet we still go to france so why the delay with announcing what's going on, its a shambles and poor management end of! .
With davis, yes ill agree most teams have a work horse but one that can do a lot more than just run around for runnings sake they need to contribute more in the modern game, and we have ours in romeu who tackles as well as running "though brick walls" chelsea's is kante etc. But they put class next to him davis does not have that killer ball in him like fabregas at chelsea, pogba at utd dembele at spurs etc etc. If we are to push on and break through the "glass ceiling" we simply need to replace the run of the mill players with quality. I feel that is our weakness in the midfield positions we seem to have quantity over quality. Take hojberg and jwp for example they could work as hard as davis but have more quality, like clasie but he doesn't seem to be able to get the fitness levels needed for the premier league but he definitely has quality.
As for being sarcastic about me questioning the running of the club, I have thought we are one of the best run clubs in the league over the last few years but this year we seem to have been caught short due to our own incompetence.

Saintdan everybody is entitled to their opinion on this site. I respect yours but to say the captain of NI is just a work horse demeans his achievements over the last few years, he has been instrumental in many of our best performances . Were you at White Hart Lane 15 months ago, I was. He actually got us in to Europe. Like I said I respect your opinion but I personally feel you don't get what he gives to the team .
