Krueger and pellegrino seem honest men to trust let's hope this is the future strong people with the clubs best interest at heart making brave decisions.

I think Claude Puel was an honest man as well and I think VVD was fit enough to play during the second half of last season but had already decided he wanted to go. We employed Puel and just wonder whether we should have given him a bit more time, Probably not but we did get to our first Cup Final in 14 years.

Chris I'm sorry but this is just ridiculous. You were the first one calling for Puel's head. More importantly, and this is the bit that make me truly angry, but where the hell do you get this idea that throughout last season VVD was healthy and available to play yet, ignoring all hope to save his job from fickle and pathetic fans like yourself, Puel thought he'd leave a healthy player on the sidelines for months.

{Ed001's Note - VVD was 100% injured and unable to play. There was no malingering going on.}

I never ever called for Puels head and I take exception to you saying that. How can you say that, it is totally false. I think he could have done things differently but never would I say what you implied.

I thought this was a banter site with people giving their opinions, seems to me I appear to be getting the mild side of hate mail no matter what I put down. I wouldn't step so low guys. Still if it makes you feel happy and justified in making the remarks you do carry on. Life's too short.

You are almost exclusively negative and I take exception to you making claims with absolutely no foundation. The idea of some conspiracy to pretend our best player was injured is ridiculous and I don't know where you got it from. Maybe I came off a bit harsher than I meant to, but I stand by everything I said.

The reports were that he had decided in January that he wanted to leave and told CP that and Les. What factual evidence do you have that he wasn't reasonably fit during the last few games of last season. I have none and I don't know anybody that does apart from the medical team At St. Mary's and the player himself. Seems strange that all the players that want moves have picked up a virus or have a slight knock that stops them from being available. Couthino, Jonny Evans, Berkley, Sanchez etc, etc.

Ed has just said that VVD was 100% injured Chris. Accept when you're wrong. As with most of the things you say on here you had no foundation and were caught out in it. Shhhh now.
