Hi guys
I'm a veteran Saints fan living in the States very concerned at where we are going. We claw our way back into the Stoke game and fail to hold out for a point. We cannot score goals and we cannot keep clean sheets. I watched the Huddersfield v Tottenham game and what a loss Pochettino was! . They play fabulous fast attacking football scoring plenty of goals but conceding nothing. Whenever I watch saints we are slow and ponderous in our build up play and we don't close down from the front, we sit back and invite teams to attack us and they willingly accept the invitation. Harry Kane today had scored 2 goals but was back in defence ensuring Spurs did not concede any. I believe we need to adopt the high tempo pressing game and get the players fitter and working harder, and putting the balls into players feet or areas where the strikers can capitalise. Football is not a complicated game and we just need to work if not harder then smarter to create more chances for us and restrict the chances for our opposition. Sorry about the rant but Saints are better than this. Please feel free to disagree. COYR.

Hopefully now Virgil is back we can go 3 5 2 with Gabbo and Long/ Chaz up front. Agree with the pedestrian football though. Went game yest. Amazing away support. More than 2,000 went and made a right noise: made me proud.
Unlucky to lose but had chances to level in the last 5 of extra time: we will bounce back. COYR.

too slow in build up play and poor with the final ball
There are a number of players who just don't cut it for me
Redmond being one.
