Making the right signings at costs in this window is better for the club than no signings and relegation. Its no good accepting a slump to The Championship. We would take years to return to the PL.

Get Quincy Prommes, to help us out of difficulties! If this doesn't happen get a new manager in . Its done wonders for Palace and Everton.

Everton are nowhere near out of it and after 3 results are back ini relegation form.

No, no, no. It is not worthwhile for the club to jeopardise its financial stability. If the club spends a lot of money signing a player and paying high wages, as I posted before, everyone else at the club will want more money. This could break the club’s back and tie hands on transfer fees and wages in future windows meaning we will almost certainly go backwards. So there is little benefit to doing it even if we do stay up this season.

Plus, signing a player for a high price is no guarantee we will stay up. What happens if we get relegated anyway? The club takes a massive financial hit from signing a player at too high a price and then takes an even larger blow on relegation. Don’t kid yourself that all of the squad will be happy sticking around after relegation either. Some will, but plenty will look for a way out and it may be that even any new signing will have insisted on a relegation release clause.

Its much safer for the club to negotiate hard, make deals that are within the financial constraints of the club and paly out the rest of this season knowing that whatever happens, the club’s finances are as stable as they can be.
