Saints need to spend to stay up; I agree that for us to compete now with other teams strengthening we have to take some risks otherwise there is a massive danger of stagnation and ultimately relegation. I remember how that felt last time and I don't much want to feel it again. The team is good enough to get out but we need a run of results and some confidence; the Spurs game and Watford result must be used to push us forward. Belief is the key and I still believe we can stay up, hell I'd take 17th right now if asked, but we are better than that. I hope that Promes joins as he will be class with Carillo, continues with giving Brighton a spanking later - COYR!

The date on the paper was 1st April, not February.
We're told every effort is being made, why are all us Saints fans so frustrated come transfer times. Here we are 18th highest turnover club, loads of TV money, still selling players year after year. Yet we are still so slow in getting deals done.
I could go on but i've got to check the rumour/ transfer sites again and again, enjoy.

Looks like plan B who we tried to sign back in 2014. Mr Lamela. Will he come on loan? Not convinced.
