Please get rid of MP, that game was pathetic until we went behind again. Then went for it and looked a different team. Substitution bringing on Gabbi worked but why so late. We will survive if we get a manager in that can use our talented squad In the right way.

First half. don’t go past the halfway line! Second half. venture forward a bit, then panic when we go behind and throw caution to the wind! His tactics are repetitive and predictable, he’s going nowhere but fingers crossed we’ll get to 37 points which is what we need.

We're stuck with him unfortunately but
A point at Burnley is a good point
Stoke has to be 3 points.

Way too negative, it was good to see Josh Sims come on and make a difference, though McCarthy played well and was unfortunate with the goal.
Carillo was decent and personally I think Gabiaddini Carillo and Sims should start against Stoke - 8 games one loss. get behind our Team and stop keep whinging. We will finish 12th, yes there is work to do but we have had a wonderful few years. Personally I've only been a saints fan about 52 years. never deviated, first game I watched Terry Paine with my Dad.!
Just wish you would all get behind the team - the players - the manager and see that we will rise again. Don't want to be a top six club. how friggin boring spending $400 million. paying players £500,000 a week. that's not us, never has been, never will be. We March On.

Agree with you Pete that there are positives from the game and Sims in particular looked exciting. I'd love to see that top 3. Gabbiadini would benefit from Carillo as a target man and Sims is exactly the type of direct player we've lacked, so I say let's give him a proper chance.

I don't agree with the lack of ambition at the end though. I'm in my twenties and I'd love nothing more than to watch the Saints rise up and become a top six team. If we can do it 'the Southampton way' as we have been, and will continue to do provided we stay up, then that's even better than doing it the City way. I think the club has the potential to do it, as the biggest South coast club and with a great infrastructure.
