I'd be happy to get Hughes in. He is a very experienced Prem Manager and should add inject the fight we need now to stay up.
We don't need flair right now, we need simple ugly results and points.

And on another note, come summer we need a major board reshuffle. MP wasn’t the man for the job and the board failed when appointing him. Time for Les to step aside.

Hughes is an awful manager.

Who else then? The only other manager with Prem experience (and that’s got to be high on the list of priorities) is Silva. He relegated Hull and was sacked by Watford. Not exactly my idea of a good candidate. I might be wrong but I don’t think Hughes has been relegated before has he?

Sinisa Mihajlovic Was mentioned on another site
Has done well in Italy but it’s whether he can do it over here
Tbh I don’t think it’s worth chancing it if we get someone who knows the league instead of someone who doesn’t
We just don’t have the luxury of games to bed them in
Well who ever they decide on it will hopefully be an improvement so all we can do is get behind them and the team.

Those looking to be optimistic about Hughes report he’s never been relegated but that’s because QPR sacked him shortly before their relegation after he managed them for most of the season and Stoke this season have done the same should they end up the same. He may not be at the helm on relegation day but he’s the one who left them in such a mess. Not being relegated means nothing when you haven’t managed a team in trouble and got them out of it.

At the end of the day, I agree that beggars can't be choosers and if whoever comes in does keep us up, that's all that matters. I just fear Mark Hughes doesn't have the rep to lift the heads in the changing room and galvanise a deflated team.

Cyprus Saint I see what you're saying, but do you think one (ok, arguably two) bad manager appointments warrants a major reshuffle? The same board (by and large) hired very well before this - Adkins, Poch and Koeman were all great hires - and oversaw an incredibly fast rise from league 1.

I'd say the football side of things needs a major reshuffle (i. e. culture, philosophy/ tactics etc. )
