I can only see us getting 4 more points. Any differing views?

We need to beat both Swansea and Bournemouth, and then one of Everton and Leicester. That'd get us to 37 points which is probably just about enough I reckon.

Doable still, but i'd say this is the first time I'd see us as more likely to go down than stay up. If we play like we did on Saturday we wouldn't beat a non league side.

I'm hoping the result puts everything into perspective for MH. He's probably not to blame but at the same time, I saw a lot of route one football that you would expect from Hughes and it did not work once.
Again 4-4-2 not a good formation for our squad. Tadic and Redmond are not good wingers. We don't have a midfielder that can play as part of a 4-4-2.
From what I've seen 4-3-3 would probably be out best formation to play.

I agree with 123, in terms of it is now looking more likely to go down. That said I am not ready to give up, even if some of the players appear to.

I recall Figo predicting that 34 points will be enough, even if this is right we need at least 2 wins, but I still think it will require more. think 8 points is required, but personally I can't see where they will come from.

WBA aside, we look the worst in the division based on recent games and I was hoping for the manager bounce. I would say the performance on Saturday was on par with any poor performances I have seen.

Something has to click at some point it surely has to
The players are at a all time low but some result that we all think will go the other way will come to us and give confidence it’s got to
Yes they’ve played the worst football I can remember in the last 2 games but Hughes is no mug and he’s already said he will be dropping the 4 and 5 out of ten players and try to get some momentum with the rest
The thing is with that attitude shown we’d struggle playing eleven players from our last 2 away performances
I’m not ready to throw the towel in yet but as Charlie said
It’s going to be the sort of escape act that Houdini would have been proud of get out of this
I’m off to arsenal Sunday with slight optimism only slight
But that’s all we’ve got at the moment
Thing is Huddersfield have a really tough run in their last 4 games are awful and I honestly can’t see them getting anything from those games
So if we can keep them in our sights and keep stoke below us we’ve got a chance.

Arsenal (A) Loss
Chelsea (H) Loss
Leicester (A) Draw (if we're lucky! )
B'Muff (H) Win
Everton (A) Win
City (H) Loss

7 points maximum.

Huddersfield will be our closest rivals

Brighton (A) Draw
Watford (H) Loss
Chelsea (A) Loss
Everton (H) Win
City (A) Loss
Arsenal (H) Loss

4 points.

We would be above them on goal difference only.

Stoke will get a max of 4 points and be relegated.

Palace will get 10 points and be safe, Swansea will get 6-9 points too.

We must catch Huddersfield.

You forgot Swansea on your list.

Diggy5471, I said Swansea would get between 6 and 9 points, which takes them beyond what we are likely to get. I don't think they're in the mix anymore.

No we’ve got to play them.
