Good article figo. Agree with pretty much everything you say. A few seasons ago I would have backed us to beat Brighton every time at home but feel that at present a draw is the most likely result however if we can come out and play like we were before the international break we could sneak a win. We certainly can't afford to lose home matches to the likes of Brighton who will probably finish the season around the same league position as ourselves.

Thanks teejay.

Its still early in the season and so MH has a tough call to make - whether to stick with a difficult 4-4-2 or play with attacking courage and take the game to Brighton. They're definitely weaker on the road and it may pay to gamble on games against this level of opposition. 4-4-2 is too restrictive on the players we have.

Interestingly, we are 4th in the league for number of shots per game but way down in tenth for number on target and lower for chance conversion rates. Accuracy and finishing remain a thorn in the side so it would be nice to see us find a way of creating chances inside the box that are more likely to be finished than shooting from range. Interplay and through balls, whipped crosses could be the answer but I'm not sure 4-4-2 allows the players the space and field position to allow this. Have to wait and see I suppose.
