Not really a saints post. But did anybody watch Ajax last night? I caught the second half and I must say Tadic looks like a completely different player. He was quality. They've allowed him to play a no.10 free roam role behind the striker. So he was getting all about the pitch in the final 3rd. Provided a quality assist for their second goal.
I know we criticised him a lot for being lazy and not tracking back, but his role at Ajax goes to show the quality he possesses if he doesn't need to track back. Another quality player we've let go.

Yeah I think we did restrict him but I also think he gave up half way through his time with us. Also, remember his opponent wasn't the strongest and it's possible playing in the Dutch league, which isn't anywhere near as quality as the BPL, gave him more confidence. But really, we can't keep pondering lost players. Only keeps us back. We need to move forward and scout others.

I take your point 're Tadic but I remember watching him 2-3 seasons ago and since and he was a very frustrating player obviously loads of talent but so, so inconsistent. There is no doubt he is in a weaker league but it will be interesting to see how long he maintains this level of performance. coyr.
