Today's results have gone for us pretty well. No one around us doing great.

Yes Leicester really did us a favour today, I think wolves at home we will lose, they are having a brilliant season, I agree with other posters Cardiff and Burnleys run ins are dire and 38 points will see us safe. A quick question what is wrong with Claude Puels management style? First us now Leicester answers would be appreciated. coyr.

Been wondering the same thing. Maybe CP has a more "boring" style where the counter attacks aren't always as one would expect? He did well with us until the other teams more or less figured out what out game plan was each game.

{Ed001's Note - do you not think it was just about him lacking charisma? The fans find it difficult to get behind him because of that. People just want their leaders to be charismatic, rather than good at what they do. That is why they vote for big personalities rather than someone who is actually good at being an MP or PM.}

I was ah we’d have seen more of him like he was at Anfield and Wembley in our cup run, full of passion. His post match interviews were always a bit dour but I didn’t mind too much.

I think the main problem was the inconsistency in results down to his style of play. Able to beat Chelsea away, City at home this season, but then lose at home to a saints side with 10 men and against a poor Cardiff side - I think fans would rather beat lesser teams and give the top sides a good game, than keep losing to relegation threatened sides for no apparent reason.

I do think we didn’t do him justice though, and maybe Leicester will eventually follow suit in dropping down the table, but I definitely wouldn’t class him as a poor PL manager. I think in a less competitive league like France his methods work just fine, and they did. maybe in his native tongue he was more effervescent in his post match interviews as well 😜.
