Happy with what Ralph is doing. i'd like to see two other signings (CB and WB) . Not saints related but looking at what Leicester are doing could they be a top 5 side? (with Man u and Arsenal a mess) .

For sure - after their last escapade into the top six we were hearing ‘it’ll never happen again’ (anyone breaching the far superior top six) but with that much mismanagement (plus we don’t know how Lampard’s Chelsea will go) there’s definitely potential for them to burst through again.

And let’s not forget they’ve won the league more recently than United, Arsenal or Spurs so really would a European spot be that much of a surprise 😜.

It'll be an interesting year this year after last season. I feel it'll be the shame at the top with no one able to touch City or Liverpool. Spurs will the closest outside, they still haven't sold any first team players and I haven't heard any rumours of anyone departing recently. As you've both said United and Chelsea don't seem to have that stability anymore. With them both giving loyal ex-players a chance who don't have great managerial records at the top level, I can't see them having great seasons. Arsenal have Emery serving a second term. However, they'll need to sign a few players to reach the level of the top 3.

Leicester and Wolves seem the most well-equipped sides to break into the top 6 and maybe even 4. It'll be interesting if both these clubs don't suffer from what we suffered when we were up there and keep their best players, you look at Maddison and Tielemans for Leicester another good season and I'd expect the big clubs chasing them. Similar stuff with Neves at Wolves.

What are your predictions for us this term? It seems like Ralph is trying to build a young sustainable squad. I think as long as he sorts out our defence we can expert a very good season.

Im hoping we can give everyone a good game (like we did against Man u and Spurs at the end of last season) and we can stay in the to 10 most saints fans would be happy. Maybe a cheeky cup run.

Would hope to be behind no more than the top six, plus Wolves, Leicester and maybe West Ham - bottom half wouldn’t be disastrous considering our last couple of seasons but I think Ralph is looking at top 8/ 10.

I would be happy with a top ten finish and then hopefully give Ralph some more money to bring in a couple more quality players during summer 2020. I'd like to see us pushing for European football again within 2/ 3 years.
