Hernandez rejected a move to us as part of the shaw deal as he saw is as too much of a step down. One place last season. But oh well. We are still interested in him and he will have talks with van gaal when he is back from the World Cup.
1.) I'd rather have lukaku than Hernandez but I dout well get him either
2.) That's my thinking too Ruffhead, we can but dream
3.) I'd like to see Heung-min Son from Bayer Leverkusen. He looks quality. Young, pacey, strong and a natural finisher. I think I saw someone on here post a few days ago that he's on our radar too. Get him in RK.

I bought this guy Heung-min Son on Football manager 2013 and he got up to a staggering 90! We should probably get him purely based on that alone ;)
5.) I watched the Korean lad at this years World Cup, must have been watching a different player than everyone else as he looked very ordinary.

Steve Bruce on a six man shortlist with the next manager to be announced by the end of next week. Steve Bruce IMO wouldn't be my first choice.
1.) Although not my first choice either we could do worse. Seems to get best out of most pIayers.
2.) Wouldn't be to worried, think the papers are just making it up as they go along now but if he is onit reckon he will be number 6

I think the problem with that statement forestsaint is 'just reading today's paper' journalists are out to make stories from nothing. No need to worry who and what we hae until the end of the transfer season. With some wise moves in the market we can replace shaw and lallana if he does leave.

I think we should push j-rod up a little next season. We missed him a lot towards the end of the season and with some pace up front (hernandez or even gallagher) we could get over the loss of lambert. I think that people leaving is inevitable with the team we had last year but the money we get in could solve the lower transfer budget if like monte thinks we have a lower one this year.
I think Hernandez just wants regular first team football. If kl is still interested and the dream is still alive I think we have a chance of luring him here. I'd imagine dell daze that our style of play will continue in the same vain it did with Nigel and mauricio.
I think hernandez would fit perfectly into our style of play and with ramirez playing through the middle if lallana goes (hopefully not) then we would continue to see some high up the pitch, possession games. Nice to hear some rumours about people coming in. COYR
