Surely it is the right time to say thanks for your help in keeping us up. Here is 3 million for your contract. See you later. How much would we lose if relegated next season and the season after? Why leave it any later. MH has had ample time to turn us around. It's not working.
Last seasons manager didn't work and should have been sacked earlier, not supported with money for his own player then sacked with a few games to go.
Act now or it will be another battle.
So we must get a result at the weekend? It's entirely possible, but would beating a poor mid table team turns our season around? Doubt it. Not sure who would be a good fit for Saints. When you start wishing you had Big Sam you are in trouble!

Even if we beat Man U, which is entirely possible as they are a shadow of their former self it would only paper over the cracks.
I’m thankful to MHs for keeping us up, although I do feel we were lucky and other teams kind of imploded. 3 million to buy his contract out surely is better that the amounts we would lose in the Championship next season and beyond. Hopefully the board will get a grip sooner than they did last season. Personally, I don’t want to be wishing we have Big Sam to guide us from relegation with a couple of games to go. Not sure who would be a good fit or who would want the job. Why would a decent manager want to come here?
