On the whole centre half thing did hear on Saturday before the game that Fonte has expressed his feelings over the sale of Nathan, Morgan and of course the loss of Toby. Some tension and unhappiness with the situation at the moment?

I would find it hard to doubt that the club captain would not have had something to say on the loss of such good defensive players without anyone (at that time ) being brought in.

Was it just me or did anyone else notice that jose who is normally very cool at the back had a real go at those around him on a couple of occasions during the second half.

As for the crystal place thing it was of pardew who brought him from them to us when he was our manager (if memory serves me right) and he expressed interest in taking him to Newcastle when he was there manager. So jose is someone he rates it would seem the current link to palace may have some reality to it.

Final thing from me .Tadic, the boy has it but disappears for long periods would love to see him in the hole behind Pelle with freedom of movement left and right. Worked really well at old trafford last season when he came off the bench to change and win the game . Any thoughts.

jack is a good player and it will be sad to see him go but think that st chris has hit the nails on the head and suspect that saints are already thinking of how we will improve the squad as move forwards

Agree with what Chris and dave have written about the saints above regarding clyne and his potential transfer and also of course the points on how our club is run these day's. Brilliantly is the word to describe it.

Rosie did not what to upset you but did feel that saintysaint in terms of discussion on transfers and clyne made some good conversation points and do not believe that he or most our supporters would believe for moment we would get 45 mill for him.

However in the new real world of SFC we will get the market price and will not be selling our great young players on the cheap to anyone.
Did feel that the comment 'hahahah what world are you living in' regarding sainty's comments was a bit harsh as he was only making general points.
I came to his defence as a fellow supporter who like all the saints fans on this site have a love and a passion for their club and sainty's comments bear that out.

With regards your striker Mr F he was introduced into the conversation (not by me ) as an analysis of your comments regarding 'what world are you living in' in regard to clyne's transfer fee.
I think it is at this moment in time a good analysis because if a team as stated, can pay 24 mill on a player they have on loan for season rising to 72 mill if they choose to buy him then 25 mill for one of the best right backs in the prem in comparison looks like a bargain. And yes he may come good. No offence meant good luck for the rest of the season.

anyone have any news on the dutchman at celtic we may be interested in.

red rosie with regards to Falcao and being embarrasesd. By the end of the season man u will have paid 24 million in loan and wages fee's. that's 24 million for a player who does not belong to utd.
Tell us how may goals has he scored and how many times has he been on the bench?

Please let us know the 'difference' between clyne and shaw as defenders. if utd do want him then there is little doubt in my mind that that a fee of around 25 million would not be unrealistic for an england international and a player rated very highly by observers of the game. You paid 28 million for shaw who was 18 at the time! so come on what is the difference.

What will be embarrassing is if your transfer policy of spending 150 million pounds during the summer does not bring you champions league football.
For us as saints fans it is great fun at the moment and will have been a brilliant season even if we finish out of the top four. For utd it is a very different feeling these days is it not.
