Instead of Walcott why not try for Zaha? Sturridge is no doubt quality but with Charlie Austin already in the team is it wise to buy another injury prone player? It could be great if they alternated injuries so one could always play but a bit risky? Your fan base seems to think changing manager is the more vital point as a genuine question what’s he feeling around the club will he be there much longer?

I think the bulk will be spent next transfer window as you’ll know if you stayed up or if the money can buffer the money lost from relegation.

A few teams seem to be in need of a target man, I agree origin could be a good option, not necessarily a target man but a decent player who gives 100% every game.

VVD give, Bertrand wants out. I'm not a fan of keeping players if they want out but sometimes you have to bite the bullet and keep them, what good is the Southampton team without VVD/ Bertrand, lemina looks good he could want out soon? We have the issue with Coutinho and quite frankly if it makes your team better I'm all for keeping them. You can’t let Bertrand go.

I think dyches great but would he take the job in its current turmoil? No doubt usually you’re a very stable and reliable club but the farce with players wanting out, lack of form, money needing to be spent, it’s not an easy job when he can st where he is with Burnley and either way and challenge for. Europe, even if he doesn’t achieve it the club is happy to be a part of the ride.

I think ed was safe to assume that VVD was leaving as it was the smartest bang to do, his position was untenable and it's almost as stupid as arsenal keeping Sanchez, eds can't account for Southampton foolishness.

Those also rans are sitting above you in the league though. I think VVD will be done with a player being part of the deal.
