Just to counter all this negativity around recent performances, let's just remember where we are in the league. If we're all honest we would have bitten off hands to be in our current position at this time of year pre season. Keep marching in!

I know you will all think I'm crazy ( you wouldn't be the first ) but it looks as though Milan are going to let Torres return to Chelsea in January and I would think he would be kicking his heels there. I know he hasn't done much lately but he is a class player and has all the skill in the world. If we could loan him from Chelsea at a reduced wage rate do you think it would be worth a try ? It may be a club like ours could bring his undoubted quality back from the dead. Just a thought and probably a silly one but it seems a waste that a player of his ability is basically on the scrap heap.

It's a tough call, he had what 3 good season in the premier league and the rest below par because of injury and inconsistency. You could say based on that he's not cut out for the premier league, but like you said he has had moments of pure class. Sadly for us I think he still considers himself worthy of a top club and a big money contract, sort of like the situation we may or may not have had with Javier Hernandez.
