I think we need a new centre back and a new midfielder and many a new left mid but there's no point spending money if we don't have to

I think all we need is a Centre back and a winger. After that it should be a case of if we can get someone to improve the team on a fair deal then good.

I think it would be nice if we could have most of the Barcelona line up

I hope we dont lose Gaston in the transfer market he has proved quality in my opinion

He won't be going anywhere this season as he has already played for 2 teams, and the rules state that a player may not play for 3 teams in a season

I can't believe some people are taken in by media garbage such as the Gaston rumour. We just bought him in the summer! No way in hell is he leaving. Inter and Milan don't have the finances to buy Gaston from us. First they would have to sell and even then it would take an amazing offer for NC to even consider letting him leave so please don't take the paper talk too seriously.

Gaston has had flashes of brilliance countered by periods of 'very-ordinaryness'.

IMO, he has not yet consistently delivered up to expectations.

However, I reckon, as he settles more and learns his team-mates styles and foibles, he will then become the nugget that he was held out to be and more.

So, no way can he go - simples.

I think he's got better and better. The last few games I have been impressed. Not as much as he cost impressed but still impressed

Might help playing him in his best position and not on the left wing recently and with no Lallana we don't have anything on the left. Love Luke Shaw but at this stage he will not overlap as there is no cover for him if he loses the ball or the attack breaks down and would hate to be caught out of position. Ramirez is a truly class player but needs quick thinking forwards to read his game. Definitely need a classy left sided defensive midfielder who can win the ball and also cover Luke who I am sure could get forward and fire the ball in to feet. Billy Sharp still think you should be here!!

Sharp is not the solution! We need a bit better pacey options [Mayuka, Lee and De Ridder are not good enough for the Premiership] Sharp is a poacher, championship level at best. Ramirez has flashes of genious but isn't consistent

I was just heading back on the M3 from Bracknell passing Winchester on my way hope I saw a very nice range rover sport after passing it had a two fellas in front seat one looked like Tom Huddlestone may be BS as was doing 90mph but very much looked like him, could be heading in the SFC direction, make this what you will, no doubt I will be called a liar but hey its what I saw or thought I saw

I saw Theo Walcott driving around a roundabout in Chandlers Ford five years ago maybe he was considering rejoining Saints.
