Ok I don't know how much of this is true but these are names people have said to me recently who could be headed to, or out from St Mary's:
In;
Davide Astori (Calgari)
Jose Rodriguez (Real Madrid)
Loic Remy (QPR)
Alex McCarthy (Reading)
Mattia Perin (Genoa)

Out;
Chaplow (Reading)
De Ridder (Genk)
Gazzaniga (Heard something about a loan)
Seaborne (Charlton)

- The Astori situation has run it's course. Would have happened by now.

- Remy will be on ridiculous wages and will want to start (can't see us wanting to give him that with our current options?). Plus not sure if he is a 'Southampton player'.

-We don't really need a keeper (unless we don't re-sign Boruc, which would be a big loss IMO). So can't see McCarthy/Perin being true.

Can definitely see some signings coming in from italy (Cortese) or Spain (Pochettino). If Rodriguez any good they will keep him, otherwise we already have plenty of good youth coming through.

- Outs could happen. De Ridder possibly not good enough for Genk. But if we loan out Gazza we might need another keeper. Would rather keep him and play him in cup games to give him experience.

does anyone else agree that Morgan Schneiderlin could break the saints record for appearances?

hes only 23, and already on 189 games. means he's got 12 years to make another 600 games. I think its do-able.

Shaw has a long saints career ahead of him if he wants it, Lallana does too and has had quite the career with saints already with just over 200 games played does he not? Plenty of players in the side could get into the thousands of appearances if they stay on long enough.

Agree0 Disagree1

It will be between him and Lallana!

And to the comment, Shaw won't stay with Saints into his 20s IMO. I hope I'm wrong but he's going to be very very very very. very very very good.

Don't forget Shaw has been at Southampton most of his life and has grown with the club like Lallana did. He may have grown that same level of loyalty through the leadership of Adam before him. He is a true talent too and with him, among others, we could become a top 6 side.

I don't want to be a top 6 club. I want us to be a top 4 team :D.

Future is bright for us our wonderkids in the academy are just gunna get better and better, iamgine Shaw, Prowse, Sinclair, Chamber, Taggert and Seager when they're in their 20's and how good they'll be if we keep them!
