Would people really want Hernandez to sign? Doesn't seem like our type of player at all, plus doesn't really fit our system, I'd rather have Utd's James Wilson instead! Fantastic prospect!

Hernandez is quality imo and I reckon he'd do well here. The thing with Wilson is that we have enough 'prospects'. We're having trouble scoring now and need someone who's developed and is a goal scorer now. Buying a player who won't fully come good for another 3-4 years is no good, especially when we have 4-5 of them coming through already.

Of all our summer business bringing in a new striker, at least in the mould of a Hernandez type player, is essential. We need someone who has BPL experience, and is a out and out poacher. In the long term maybe that will be Ryan Seager, but right now we have to look elsewhere.

I swear Wilson scores every time he play for Utd and would definetly be good now, I know we need a BPL experienced goal scorer but he must fit our system for him to be a good signing, also Hernandez has barely played for 2 seasons, Charlie Austin would fit well IMO

Next season I imagine even more of our academy products will have a larger impact in our 1st team, with Stephens and Turnball having very good loans spells at Swindon, I imagine after there injuries Gallagher and Isgrove will play bigger parts too, with the likes of McQueen, SInclair, Seager, Hesketh and Gape impressing in the under 21's, obviously not all will step up but there's at least a couple every season! This will add competition to the squad and with a few new signing we could have a squad more than capable to compete in Europe, hopefully we can bring Alderwerield on a permanant deal as he has said we're his first choice and on top of that signing Charlie Austin, Sam Byram, keeping Ramirez and signing another wide forward would be ideal, as well as possibly a keeper loan until Forster's back. If we can get back to back wins now at Stoke and at home to Spurs, that will put huge pressure on City and Liverpool, 4th could still be possible and wouldn't a winner takes all match at City last game of the season be incredible! COYR!!

If we make Europa Dopa I can see a lot of the younger players getting a run out in that comp.
We still need to buy proven players up front. I'm not 100% convinced about Pelle and would like to see another two brought in. My preference would be Hernandez and Austin. Those two, Pelle and J-rod should give us the goals. Plus as you said Gallacher and other graduates making a push for first team football.
For the Gallacher doubters, last season he had roughly the same record as Harry Kane and look what happened to him.
Clyne and Spider will need to be replaced with quality and there have been players linked already.
Yosh is good back up but not a regular first team right back or centre back.
And yes a winner takes all final game would be fantastic!

I've never understood the Gallagher doubters, he only came into to our team as a back up sort of role last season just after Christmas, I remember how well he played in his debut against Arsenal and his 2 goals from the bench against Yeovil and Norwich, personally thought he had a massive potential and now he's just getting sharp again from a long term injury
