I watched todays game and i'm baffled how we drew. We should have killed the game off with a third goal. Rodriguez had two more chances but failed to put them past the keeper. Lambert had a chance but dragged it wide. Now what we need and what we get will be completely different. Our chairman has just walked out on us and players won't want to come. It was the worst time for it to happen imo. Depending on what the chairman wants this season will determin if we try to bring anyone in. I think if we want to push for europe we need strength in defence and a great finisher up front. Creative midfielder can wait. We can always have rod-Lamb-lan playing behind a top striker. We are comfortable at the moment in 9th and if the owners want to wait till the summer to strengthen then the rest of the season can be used to play our up and coming tallent. Perfect chance really to give them prem action and get them ready for next season.

Any news yet on the seriousness of todays injuries?

Yes Mauricio Pochettino has Strained his brain trying to work out how he lost that game?

. Meanwhile, Nigel Adkins' Reading side thrashed Bolton 7-1.

"terribly average manager" as someone on here, embarrassingly, called him the other day!

People will obviously disagree but I think we will need to sign a cb for sure now after the Sunderland match. Lovren looks like he might be out again for a strech. This would be good to see some money spent in this window! Would show some commitment from KL, investing in her investment! Don't want to see us slipping down the league and our value with it!

Shame about gaston as well, I know it was only five minutes but I thought he was looking dangerous! Any way let's see if there are any signings now, keep up the hard work boys. COYR!!

Lovren's injury isn't as bad as people seem to think, it looked as though the sunderland player stamped on his ankle. he'll be back for the next league match. Need a CB for sure though

Gaston was looking good, probably would have scored had wes brown not tried to break his leg. His injury looked bad, but after the tackle his ankle wasn't flopping about like they do when they're broken, probably ligament damage though

Both players travelled back with the team tonight

After today's display if Mauricio Pochettino goes I for one will not lose any sleep he's style of play is so one dimensional?he only nose one way to play and the same thing is starting to happen as it did in Spain he's being found out! Taking Adam of for gaston WTF! Found wanting also need top Finnisher!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

you don't know what was happening on the pitch, maybe adam had a knock, maybe after running his legs off for 70 mins he was knackered and a fully fit Ramirez is better than a knackered Lallana? Maybe, he took him off to prevent him getting injured, if MoPo left Lallana on and his ankle was broken what would you be saying then?!. We need another option up front, there's nothing MoPo can do about that during a game though. If J-Rod had taken his chances he would have had a hat trick today, with nothing on the bench he could just hope they would actually score.

MoPo is one of the brightest managers around, he's only going to get better

Agree0 Disagree0

Corky man of the match today and in all honesty he's been great since he's been back but Poch will drop him as soon as the lump is fit again. Please no rubbish about the lump being a defensive wall, Poch is a one trick pony coach, end of

Gaston nearly scored 5 mines from being on and looked quality for the brief spell he was on, and as he nearly scored I wouldn't say it was a bad sub

Agree0 Disagree0

To the OP, whilst it's fair to say the team could of had it wrapped up in the first half, it's harsh to blame MoPo for either of the goals. Both were unfortunately caused by a combination of slack defending and luck. It was obvious Sunderland were going to come out all guns blazing second half as they would of had a rollicking from Poyet for their first half display. I thought it was an encouraging move to bring Gaston on as well, particularly as Lallana didn't get the freedom he had in the first half.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you watched the game you would have seen lallana loosing the ball on many occasions maybe that's why he was taking off. glad he was could have been him getting injured when remirez did
