Just a thought as the season draws ever closer and the need for interviews gets greater, can anyone tell me if MP's English is getting better, or do we have to put up with the interpreter.

Like it matters. Yes he can speak English, but maybe he won't to the press. Doesn't make too much difference. Football is clearly a language he understands though.

I hope they keep the interpreter, they made a great comedy duo. Although he can clearly speak English now. Credit where credit is due learning a new language in just a few months.

Interpreter is staying, Poch doesn't want to be made to look silly so David Salas is Continuing his stay at the club till at least Jan.

Okay lads, serious prediction time. Where do you honestly think we will finish this season? I reckon we finish 7-8th.

9th behind last seasons top 7 and predicted surprise package Norwich this season who have made great signings. Perhaps 10th or 8th but I think 9th most likely.

I note NC has (to date) over achieved any targets made. Rumoured we have been aiming at top 6 so I think 5th! Maybe that sounds a simplistic calculation but it isn't and there is quite a bit of thought behind my prediction, but too hot to detail.

As above think 8th would be great result more likely to be 10-12th

I believe that we could finish 7th if we bring in another striker, but strangely 9th if we don't.

However I would hope we finish 8th so we don't have to play in the Europa cup, which I feel would really hurt our season. We just don't have the strength in depth for an assault on that competition yet. It will be interesting to see how well Swansea cope with it this year.

I think its going to be another tough year. A lot of teams have strengthened and I doubt there will be many 'easy' games. Top 12 would be a result - hopefully see the team develop with some of the youngsters (isgrove, chambers. ) getting some first team experience in the process

Top 7 set as same as last year.

Think Swansea will have a good season. And that will put us in 9th, if we show similar form to our second half of last year.

Stoke, Palace and Hull going down.

Sunderland are for the drop.

Still think our central defence may be a problem especially if we get injuries. Need that finisher either as a striker or attacking midfielder, can't keep creating chances and not finishing. Take our chances maybe 6th.

We just need to get off the Mark with 3pts and then we should be away.

Sunderland palace and hull not done enough good signings and going down we'll finish 11th as norwich and swansea bought well

De Ridder has been released by mutual consent, good to get rid of some dead wood - let's replace with some quality

Leandro Dami�o running out of option what with Roberto Soldado off to Tottenham maybe we can pull this off!
