Keep it going lads!!

I just love it when our top 4 (Man City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal) lose. Its always what they did wrong not what the opposition did right.

Today we showed that we have a squad, we can compete with the best and we have attitude. If we have injuries we have players that can come in a perform well. A nice mix.

It wasn't two goalkeeping errors that won us the game. It was a better all round performance from us than it was from Arsenal. That is why we won.

and Yes Forster is developing nicely. Note no Joe Hart today. Keepers are always under the spotlight!!

Just thought it was a great gesture by Theo to walk round the stadium at the end of the game. A real professional and don't forget we sold him when we were in ***t street so it wasn't his fault. Top bloke.

Great team performance today.

Wanyama easily MOTM
Forster made some immense saves that kept us in it, particularly Sanchez's shot just before we went 2 up
Mane was top quality, again
Tadic got a long awaited goal
Gardos and then Yoshida looked v. good

All of that begs the question.
Who are y'all going to moan about tonight?

What to moan about? Pelle and Ward-Prowse's finishing. Saints should've been out of sight, four or five up before things got a bit nervy towards the end.

Great result, lots of rock solid performances, even Tadic perked up after his goal - hopefully he'll get the same boost that Mane got a few games back and return to form.

Gardos should've been sent off, which was a negative, although he played really well until then. His lack of pace has caught him out badly twice recently, against Sheffield United and today, and should've resulted in two red cards. Needs to get to grips with the speed of the game in England quickly.

The perfect outcome for Mane's injury would be a minor niggle that keeps him out of the African Cup but available for Saints in a couple of weeks.

Onwards.

But Mane,Forster, Wanyama and Tadic did the business today! (Not bad for players who were not good enough.)

This squad is developing nicely. We do not have a team that will take the pitch and look like they are at a different level to the best teams, but we have players who are getting better and better and the team spirit is tremendous.

JWP could well be like JayRod-struggles to initially score and then he can't be stopped from doing so.

Forster superb, Fonte superb and the rest really great just a shame we can't finish. Hope it happens soon because we must take our chances. Any thoughts that Mane really doesn't want to go the ACN and although obviously definitely injured it might work out to our advantage. Great result but please Saints take your chances because other teams would and if we want to stay where we are we have to be clinical. I repeat FORSTER superb.

Saw an article on the top 10 chants of 2014 and wondered what everyone's personal highlights were, Saints or from other clubs? Mine was when we played Tottenham 'Sit Down Mauricio!'
